WHEN WE DISAPPREAR

 

«When We Disappear» is a history-based, story-driven and dialogue-based game set in 1943 when a young girl escapes the torments of World War 2 with the help of the resistance. The game tells the story of Hannah who is separated from her family, escapes across Europe and who is confronted with various dilemma situations. Players need to decide how her escape continues and influence the course of the story.

The overall story and all settings, characters and puzzles are developed in close partnership with historians, scientists and researchers of the Lucerne Institute of History Education and Memory Culture at the University of Teacher Education in Lucerne to encourage players to think about our common past and the shared responsibility for our future.
